Have you ever wondered what motivates you in life? What influences your emotions, reactions, thoughts, states, and behaviours? The simple answer is – Core Values that you represent in your life.

Values not only shape our identity but also play a crucial role in navigating relationships. That’s why I like to start therapy sessions for both individuals and couples by analyzing the core values my clients represent, and most importantly, why.

The 100 Values Exercise entails listing the values that you find most significant in your life. There’s an opportunity for you to include values that we may not have covered. The task is to select 10 values that you hold most dearly. I understand this can be challenging, as we often resonate with numerous values.

To ease the process, I suggest beginning by circling those 25 values. However, the exercise isn’t complete until you’ve narrowed it down to your top ten core values:
